ArtitudePDX is an independently owned, DIY quarterly magazine dedicated to amplifying the voices of Portland’s creative community. Founded by Chris McMurry, the magazine grew out of a passion for art and a desire to build something meaningful for the community. What began as a monthly column in a neighborhood newspaper has now expanded into a platform that celebrates artists, writers, musicians, and creatives of all kinds.

We believe in the power of independence. Free from corporate control, we focus solely on what matters most: the love of art and the desire to share it with others. This magazine is a space where creativity can flourish unfiltered, where underrepresented voices are amplified, and where the community comes first.
